CERTIFICATION AUTHORITY
GRC-Pirk, acting a "Certificate Authority", or its subcontractors will perform Assessment(s) for Certification(s), as mutually agreed, to determine if Client's building, equipment, product(s) and/or operation(s) (the "Investments") identified in the Certified Green Investment ("CGI") application and exhibits for certification are in compliance with the laws, regulations and technical standards specified by: (hereinafter "Certification Regulations" for such Investments, and are thereby eligible for certification by a licensed professional)
- a) U. S. Federal Trade Commission - Use of Environmental Marketing Claims, CFR Part 260, Section 5; and, or
- b) U.S. Treasure Department, Internal Revenue Service Code, Section 179D; pursuant to Standard 189.1-2009, Energy Standard for the Design of High-Performance Green Buildings, developed for the American National Standards Institute by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America; and, or
- c) U.S. Energy Independence and Security Act; and, or
- d) U.S. Environmental Protection Agency National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System; and, or
- e) U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; and, or
- f) U.S. Environmental Protection Agency National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants.
